serviced. Very reliable. Great handling. No cam belt to change, it has a timing chain. Cheap to insure (cost me £300 for a year) and great fun to drive (light car with 150bhp as standard). On top of that I`ve found that it regularly returns 44-45mpg on a run and high 30`s around town. Which is the same as my previous diesel Mondeo!! | In its day this car got great reviews. It was the best handling car in its class and dominated the British Touring Car Championship for a good few years. As standard the car has endless grip with very little body roll, and a very lively engine. Its a great fun car to own. | The car is in great condition for its age both mechanically and cosmetically. It has 108,000 miles on the clock and being a Nissan means it has probably got another 100k miles in it. It drives like new! | I bought this car last year as a second project car, but I`m moving house and I`ll only have room for one car now so the Primera has to go. | The car benefits from the following subtle upgrades: | Professionally fitted Subaru seats (fitted by myself at a cost of £400, they are far superior to the standard seats and hold you comfortably. The black / grey trim matches the original interior perfectly) Stainless Steel Exhaust ManifoldMagnecor HT LeadsApexi Induction Kit | It recently underwent a lot of mechanical work to bring it up to standard (cost approx £650) this included: | New rear brake callipers ( Nissan rear callipers are notoriously bad, so rather than clean up I replaced with new.New rear gas shock absorbers.New front wishbones.New front drop links and bushesUndersealed ready for winter. | The car is in great mechanical and cosmetic condition. | Bad bits: | Very small amount of bubbling around the Nissan badge on the bonnet.Few minor scratches on rear bumper (to be expected for a car of this age)Occasional knock from N/S drive shaft when pulling away. I don’t have time to have this changed now but I have bought a new drive shaft and will include it with the car. Its probably about an hours labour to fit when it needs doing.Small crack in windscreen, can be claimed on insurance before its next mot if you have windscreen cover its usually £50-60. | I had planned on keeping this car so I didn’t hold back on the cost of maintenance etc. It is honestly in good shape and drives perfectly. It is a 1994 L reg LXi model that has electric windows, Power Steering, Sunroof and central locking, white paint work with a grey interior It has a Current MOT that is due to expire on the 3rd March 2012, With the only problem on the last MOT being the Tyres in which all FOUR were replaced and still have loads of tread remaining. Only 7000 miles have been covered since its last MOT. As can been seen in the Photos the vehicle is in very good condition with no damage apart from a very small door dent on the front passenger door (see photo). Internally the cloth interior has not marks, tears or damage. Mechanically the vehicle is again in very good condition having been well maintained and regulary serviced. Within the last year the Alternator has been replaced, a FULL service carried out including new Oil and filters changed. FOUR new tyres, NEW clutch cable, New FRONT and REAR BRAKES and cable. The car drives very well with no knocks etc and there are no oil leaks. There are no problems with the clutch, gearbox, engine etc. There is loads of service history paperwork and the V5 (log book) is present and correct. There is no tax on the vehicle as the car is currently correctly SORN of road. The only reason the car is being sold is due to a bereavement.
