the MOT has now run out and the car is now SORN, i dont think it would need much to pass an MOT but would make an excellent car for a young person who has a test in a few months to put things right before they pass. Nice tidy little runnabout for age and mileage but needs a little TLC, it has a rip in the drivers chair, a pair of seat covers would hide and has great potential to become a nice car for a first time driver. Service history up until 87720 miles (mileage noew 109k) All paperwoprk is with me, includes all documents and handbooks SORN Declared. Air Con/CD/Radio/New floor mats! Good bodywork except in the picture above rear bumper and interior and drives really well engine sounds excellent, no knocks good pulling engine but has a small oil leak There are some small dents in the panels but nothings that cant be done by a mobile repair man. a superb little car that has been so economical and reliable since we purchased it. It drives a 60 mile round trip each day mainly on dual carriageway and motorway and the digital display trip computer displays over 80mg on average!It`s quite rare to find the SX in the diesel. It`s top of the range with all the extras such as climate control/air conditioning, half leather seats, digital trip computer, CD player with steering wheel controls, keyless entry (a small button on the door that when pressed whilst the key fob is near by all the doors open) I have 2 keyfobs both of which work and have recently had new batteries fitted. Plus all the usual things you`d expect to find such as power steering, electric windows ABS etc...The rear seats can slide back into the boot area to provide extra legroom for rear passengers. The rear seat is also folding for extra room when needed. The drivers seat has lumbar support and is height adjustable. The steering wheel is also adjustable to provide the driver with a nice comfortable driving position.The engine is the 82BHP version which is much better than the painfully slow 65BHP model that there seem to be so many of! It does not in any way make it less economical though, so you have a sprightly engine plus economy all backed up with the tried and tested Japanese reliability. (The very reasons we bought the car in the first place!!)The car has been serviced at regular intervals throughout it`s life. Most recently at 71000 miles we had a full service done which included a new timing belt (cam belt) new water pump, new auxiliary belt and brake pads. The car comes with loads of time left on the MOT (September 2012) and plenty of tax, although at only £30 for a whole year it doesn`t really matter!! (tax til Feb2013)I can not recommend this car enough. It is the 1.3 3 door model, so nippy, frugal on fuel and cheap to insure. It`s also a bargain!The car is clean and tidy, but with knocks and scratches to most panels. The car was written off in November 2010 due to a minor accident with a Golf (their fault) - a dent in the wing and a cracked bumper, which would cost more to repair than the car was worth. We have the VOSA identity verification certificate (provided by VOSA following an identity check), and so therefore there is no problem insuring it. have had no problems with the car in the time we`ve owned it. The car has a full Nissan service history and we have all the paperwork to back this up (even the original order forms and invoices). The roof works as it should and there are no leaks. The alloys look silver but they are actually a really nice anthracite grey. When we purchased the car it only had one key so we have had an additional key cut and coded (at great cost). Both keys unlock the car, disable the immobiliser and allow you to start the car. | The pictured stereo is not included, the original will be re-fitted. If you would like the pictured stereo this could be negotiated for the right offer. It has a hidden compartment to put your iPod/iPhone inside the head unit and is connected to the factory fitted steering wheel controls. It does not have a CD player. a relatively rare car and is very economical on petrol!This is a great car, perfect for commuters, first time buyers, or if you just want to be more economical on petrol.It has 10 months MOT (Feb 2013). The tax is out this month.I travelled long and short distances in this lovely little car and it travels very well. Starts everytime.It has a few bumps and scratches as it`s had a couple of first time owners and seen a few busy super market car parks (as you would expect).This doesn`t affect the functionality of the car. It has a couple of easily fixable problems: the central locking is a little temperamental on the passenger door (once unlocked it might lock again so you have to unlock again).
