It’s a very honest car condition wise and appears to be very original. The metallic Cinnabar Red paintwork has a great shine to it. Under the wheel arches it`s recently been jet washed clean of all previous road grime and mud to reveal a very solid structure. Known weak areas have been cleaned, finished in stone chip paint and wax oiled in preparation for this year’s salt. Any trim that was faulty, has been replaced. Being both very honest and very fussy, I will mention that it’s had a very small patch to the nearside sill that has been done to a high standard. This is a very common weak point on these K11 Micras. There are a couple of very small parking dings present but one has to remember that it’s 14 years old now. With this in mind it’s wearing its years very well indeed. As I say, it’s very original in condition.INTERIORInside its all original and in excellent shape. The genuine Nissan Micra fully fitted mats are Grey patterned carpet and in good shape, having protected the carpet underneath well. The boot area is clean and tidy, complete with spare wheel with excellent tyre, the jack and original tool pouch. It has a very recent JVC CD radio fitted in perfect working order. The Owners Handbook Folder is present with all original books inc. service book with 13 stamps showing services every year regardless of mileage. ENGINE BAY and DRIVETRAIN Totally original with no signs of any fluid leaks and starts instantly from cold. It`s just had a full service at 95342 miles including Distributor cap, rotor arm, air filter, oil change etc. It also had a new nearside CV joint fitted, a common fault on these. The SERVICE HISTORY is complete, albeit not entirely Nissan. However, supporting paperwork shows that it has religiously been serviced yearly using quality parts, in turn supporting the vehicles mileage. In the paperwork there is proof of: · a new clutch at 65287 miles · New rear brakes at 75508 miles · 2 new tyres and a wheel alignment at 87672 miles · New CV joint at 95342 miles It looks like it’s had a new battery recently although I cannot find any supporting evidence of this. It also looks to have had two new front struts recently as they still have the labels on them and are just too clean to be original. However, again, there is no paperwork to support this. The engine bay is virtually spotless and clean. WHEELS and TYRESWearing original Nissan Vibe wheel trims that again are in excellent shape. It has 4 very good tyres along with the aforementioned spare.SUMMARYThis car is in very good condition and drives like just as it should. Its history is excellent, showing that whenever anything has been required, the car has had the work completed. There are 2 keys present, both genuine NATS keys. I bought this car as its 4th owner to use while I had some work done on my own car. I also bought it to use during the snow which has yet to materialise. The tax runs out at the end of January and my own car is now back on the road so it’s now back up for sale, serviced, cleaned and ready for it’s next loving owner. This really would make a perfect car for a first time driver. It’s very clean and tidy, comfortable, reliable, low insurance (1.0 litre engine) and is a low tax bracket (£130 for 12 months). Above all it’s very reasonably priced. Viewing is strongly recommended as this car is priced to sell. Feel free to contact me and come and see it. In readiness for it being sold we have had it MOT tested 1 month before the MOT is due and so it comes with 13 months MOT. It has a very good CD Radio installed with removable front and also additional rear sony 6 x 9 speakers installed invisibly to the rear parcel shelf. All exterior trim is black including the factory alloy wheels ( which as they are factory do not load your insurance. ). All wheels have locking wheel nuts. It had to have a new clutch fitted at christmas which has only done 200 miles, at the same time new front brake pads were also fitted. The interior is clean no tears or damage . The outside is as good as you can expect of a car of this age, small supermarket ding in the drivers door and rear wing. All tyres are good as well. Engine runs smoothly . All the electrics work. since 2004 and since that time she has averaged 300 miles a year in it! The MOT history shows that the mileage since 2006 is as follows; 2006...61,442-2007...61,842-2008...62,172-2009...62,487-2010...62,809 The last Mot ran out in August when she was taken into a care home,so I have just had it done and the current mileage is 63,078. The car drives beatifully,starts first time every time,cheap to tax and insure.The only thing to its detriment is the dent on the front nearside wing(quoted £60 to get done). One more thing I should add is that it does not have power steering,however the steering on micra,s is very light,hence a 90 year old had no problems with it! I think the price is competitive for a genuine clean little car.Apart from the dent mentioned i would say the car is pretty immaculate inside and out.. There is no service book.I know she took it to the same local garage in Exeter every year when the mot was due and they would sort anything that needed doing.I can get their details if necessary if anyone wanted to check with them.
