The kit was fitted in circa 4 hours, Since the showing of the Top Gear Polar Challenge  featuring the modified / lifted Toyota Hilux, interest in this type of vehicle has been significant, so we decided to try and find a solution to meet the demand for a lifted Nissan Navara D40. The Top Gear Hilux conversion took 120 man hours and would probably cost around £10,000 to convert, which is really more than anyone would consider on a £18,000 truck. We can do a “soft” version of the Nissan Navara D40 for around £1000 which includes the lift, wheels and tyres, depending on choice. The standard fit tyres come in at 29″ (740mm) diameter and with a lift kit and a bit of minor trimming of some plastic, a tyre diameter of 32.8″ (835mm) can be used, which when you park the two Navara D40 ’s side by side is especially noticable.
